Important Notice regarding OSS #41 Yearling Nominations

The changing circumstance in Ontario horse racing has impacted the Ontario Sires Stakes Program Administrator’s ability to issue nomination forms and conditions to meet the May 15th nomination deadline.

To provide sufficient time to plan, the Board of the Ontario Racing Commission (ORC) authorized an extension to the May 15th deadline. The Program Administrator will be meeting with the Standardbred Improvement Program Advisory Group later this week to discuss the program for OSS#41 (racing in 2013 and 2014) and make a determination on the new nomination deadline.

By end of day on May 11th, 2012, the Program Administrator will issue a communiqué regarding the outcome of these discussions.
